Don't be lazy.
If you want to be admired, be admirable.
Don't just give up.
If you want to be a leader, be responsible.
Don't give silly excuses and assume others are blind or too stupid to see through your excuses.
If you want to be relied upon, be reliable.
Don't just expect to be trusted without proving your credibility.
In fact, don't prove that you're unreliable.
If you want respect, be respectable.
Don't just expect it without attempting to have values people would respect you for.
If you want to be loved, be lovable.
Don't just expect people to love you just because you love them. It doesn't work that way. Perhaps only in your dreams.
If you want others to enjoy you, be enjoyable.
Don't just expect others to want your company just because you want them to want it.

Just be and watch the difference it will make to your life.
